You've had a really successful career in music and it feels like people are taking music from drag artists more seriously than ever. I think that Drag Race will continue to evolve because it's what they've always done. I would love to see a drag king on Drag Race. So the show does a great job of evolving. It was kind of like secretly against the rules at one point. There was a time where it was unheard of to have trans women competing on the show. Well, Drag Race always continually evolves. ![]() How can Drag Race evolve and improve given it's such a huge focal point for drag globally? What's really hot and what's really like the thing in drag right now probably won't be by next year. Everyone believe that." And so that's what we did. You sort of took what you could find and you said, "This is beautiful now. That wasn't how it was for me when I was first starting out. All their hair and the wigs are so good and beautiful, and the clothes are all expensive and wonderfully made. I feel like Drag Race has a way of showing people how one specific type of drag is done. What do you think of how drag has evolved in recent years and how do you see drag continuing to evolve in the future? It's an added level of stress and anxiety, but that makes for good TV, I guess. It is always a little bit stressful to have a microphone on yourself and to have cameras following you around on a really stressful day because it's like, tempers get really hot, especially when things are going wrong like they did. What did you find most challenging about this whole process? It makes it really hard for the judges, but you know, that's part of the fun.
